China's output of refractories' downstream industries in Jan-Apr 2022

May 30, 2022 - In April, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size decreased by 2.9% year-on-year and down by 7.08% on monthly basis; From January to April, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 4% year-on-year, down 2.5 percentage points from January to March.
According to the data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the decline in the output of pig iron and crude steel, the main refractories consumption industry, slowed down; the decline in cement output intensified, down 18.9% year-on-year, and the decline increased by 13.3 percentage points.
